Project Logistics Budgeting

Project Logistics Budgeting

Logistics budgeting is a crucial bridge between project planning and execution, playing a key
role in overall construction costs. Once the Project Owner selects an EPC Contractor,
planning begins for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction schedules. After finalizing
engineering specifications, the EPC Contractor sources equipment from global suppliers.
At Wheel & Time, we assess logistics costs by acquiring the packing list of equipment
procured from various suppliers. Our budgeting process accounts for all cost factors based

on the defined scope of work, covering multiple Incoterm scenarios, including:

Ex-works to DAP

Ex-works to FOB

Ocean Freight

Pre or Onward Carriages for both import or export cargoes

Inland haulages

Project logistics budgeting is proposed at different stages of plant construction.

Bidding stages

During this phase, our technical team leverages their expertise to propose the most feasible solution along with meticulously calculated logistics budgets. These proposals assist the bidding team of EPC Contractors or Equipment Suppliers in evaluating and incorporating logistics budgets into their overall procurement bids.

Procurement stages

In alignment with the specified incoterms scope, we present competitive technical and commercial proposals grounded in comprehensive studies conducted by our team and associates. These proposals are substantiated by actual costs prevalent during the execution of transportation, ensuring accuracy and reliability in budgeting processes.
